Shri Vinod Nagar Honoured with

‘Sahitya Vibhuti’ Award in Nashik

         Bhopal. Senior writer, journalist, critic, and columnist from the state capital, Shri Vinod Nagar, was recently honoured with the ‘Vidyottama Sahitya Vibhuti’ Award in the city of Nashik, Maharashtra. The award was conferred upon him at the All India Hindi Literary Awards function organised by the Vidyottama Foundation. The ceremony was presided over by senior journalist and Group Editor of Dainik Bhaskar, Shri Rajesh Dubey.

        The Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Nashik, Dr. Neelabh Tiwari, was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he stated that after CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), the time has now come for the country to seriously deliberate on the new concept of Personal Social Responsibility (PSR).

         During the ceremony, the President of Vidyottama Foundation, Shri Subodh Kumar Mishra, informed that this year 31 litterateurs from different parts of the country were honoured for their outstanding literary contributions. Shri Nagar, who is also a recipient of the Naresh Mehta Award of the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Akademi, was conferred the ‘Sahitya Vibhuti’ Award for his book “Likha To Chhapa”.

          Notably, Shri Nagar has been continuously active in the fields of writing and journalism for the past five decades. So far, 10 books, including a six-volume collected works, have been published by him. Earlier, in recognition of his long and distinguished creative contribution, he has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the Balakavi Bairagi Shikhar Award, and accolades from the Tulsi Sahitya Akademi, Madhya Pradesh Lekhak Sangh, Dushyant Kumar Manuscript Museum, Abhinav Kala Parishad, Akhil Hindi Sahitya Sabha, Sahitya Ganga, Sahitya Gaurav, Sahitya Ratna, Kadambari, and the Editors’ Association, among others.
