Dr. A.K. Dwivedi entrusted with an important national-level responsibility
Inducted into the Scientific Advisory Committee of NEIAH

Indore: Once again, Indore has brought pride to itself at the national level in the fields of medicine and AYUSH. The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has nominated senior homeopathy physician from the city, Dr. A.K. Dwivedi, as a Member (Homeopathy Expert) of the prestigious Scientific Advisory Committee of the North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), located in Shillong, Meghalaya.

According to the official letter issued by the institute on January 23, 2026, and in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of AYUSH, Dr. Dwivedi has been appointed as a member of the committee for a tenure of three years. Notably, NEIAH is the only autonomous AYUSH institute under the Government of India in Northeast India, where higher education, research activities, and medical services in both Ayurveda and Homeopathy are provided within a single campus.

Expressing his views on being nominated to the Scientific Advisory Committee of NEIAH, Dr. Dwivedi said that it is a matter of great honor and responsibility for him. He stated that Northeast India is a region rich in medicinal potential, and through his experience, he will strive to give new direction to research activities there, while also contributing to making healthcare services more effective through the integration of Homeopathy and Ayurveda. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Ministry of AYUSH for the trust placed in him.

On Dr. Dwivedi’s nomination, office bearers of the Shri Gujarati Samaj, the Principal of S.K.R.P. Gujarati Homeopathic Medical College, along with teachers and colleagues, expressed their happiness and congratulated him. Experts believe that Dr. Dwivedi’s long experience will play a significant role in strengthening the institute’s academic development, policy guidance, and research activities.

It is noteworthy that Dr. A.K. Dwivedi has also been serving as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) under the Ministry of AYUSH since 2015. Due to his expertise in the treatment of rare and complex diseases such as aplastic anemia and hematohidrosis, patients from across the country visit Indore for treatment.

Dr. Dwivedi informed that the Anemia Awareness Campaign, which he has been conducting for the past 27 years, has received appreciation at the central level. As a result of his continued public awareness and service initiatives, the Government of India and the Ministry of AYUSH have been entrusting him with various important responsibilities from time to time. He stated that he will work with complete dedication and commitment to live up to this trust. He added that this responsibility is not merely a personal achievement, but a matter of pride for Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and the entire homeopathy fraternity. For this, he also expressed his appreciation to Indore MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, whose support and encouragement have helped public welfare initiatives progress continuously.

Anemia Awareness Campaign from February 22

The Anemia Awareness Campaign will be organized in Indore from February 22 to March 1, 2026. Dr. Dwivedi stated that the MP Seva Prakalp will also extend support as a key collaborator in this campaign. This public welfare initiative is conducted annually with the support of Ayush Medical Welfare Foundation, Advanced Homeopathy Society, and Sehat & Surat. During the campaign, trained teams visit households to educate people about the symptoms and prevention of anemia, as well as important nutrition-based dietary practices, encouraging healthy habits to help improve blood levels in the body.
