AIIMS Bhopal Organizes Successful Voluntary Blood Donation Camps at

MANIT and Bhartiya Khadya Nigam

AIIMS Bhopal, in collaboration with MANIT and Bhartiya Khadya Nigam, hosted voluntary blood donation camps at both locations, successfully collecting approximately 100 units of blood. The initiative, spearheaded by the Blood Centre of AIIMS Bhopal, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, employees, and members of the public.

Prof. Dr. Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, attended the events and underscored the vital importance of voluntary blood donation. He emphasized how these donations are crucial for saving lives, particularly for patients suffering from conditions such as cancer and thalassemia, as well as for victims of road traffic accidents. "Every drop of blood donated today has the potential to save a life tomorrow. It is a selfless act of compassion that brings hope to those in need," stated Dr. Singh.

Dr. Singh expressed profound gratitude to all voluntary blood donors who stepped forward to support this noble cause. He commended their generosity and commitment, noting that their contributions will significantly help meet the urgent demand for blood in life-threatening situations.

The event proved to be a resounding success, reinforcing AIIMS Bhopal’s dedication to public health and community service. The Blood Centre of AIIMS Bhopal extends heartfelt thanks to MANIT, Bhartiya Khadya Nigam, and all volunteers for their invaluable support in making this initiative possible.
