Hindu College Commences Construction of over 500-Seat Boys' Hostel to Feature Cutting-Edge Facilities and Amenities

            New Delhi:  Hindu College celebrated a momentous occasion with the Bhumi Pujan ceremony for its highly anticipated mega project—the construction of a state-of-the-art Boys' Hostel with a capacity of over 500 seats. The event was held at the construction site, marking a significant milestone in the college's illustrious history. NBCC India Ltd is carrying out the construction work.

This ambitious Boys' Hostel project features rooms outfitted with ergonomic furniture, high-speed internet, and efficient storage solutions to provide a comfortable and organized living environment. Additionally, the project includes a state-of-the-art auditorium, ample car parking, and a fully equipped kitchen and dining hall, all designed to offer exceptional amenities to students. The hostel will also boast an indoor sports facility, a computer room, a visitors' lounge, laundry facilities, and recreational areas, creating a comprehensive environment for student growth and well-being.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, Prof. Yogesh Singh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, lending his support and sharing his vision for the future of the university. Dr. Vikas Gupta, Registrar of the University of Delhi, attended as the Guest of Honour, underscoring the importance of such infrastructure in nurturing academic and personal development.

Prof. Anju Srivastava, Principal of Hindu College, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Our students are our pride, and they are truly contributing to the nation's development through research, innovation, and extracurricular activities. Many of our distinguished alumni have achieved great success while living in hostels.
